Meet Caspa

These images are from when Caspa first came to me. Top left was her first day home. She was barely 7 weeks old. Read her story below! Grab some tissues.

Our Story

Caspa came into my life under difficult circumstances. She had severe wounds covering her back legs, paws, and tail, and I was told she had jumped into a bucket of hot water while the person who had no business breeding dogs was cleaning up after her 10 brothers and sisters. She was the last born, the smallest of the litter, and already fighting an uphill battle.

When I brought her to the vet, I was told she wouldn’t make it and was advised to euthanize her. I left that appointment in tears, holding her tightly, knowing I couldn’t accept that outcome.

Because of her condition, she was also delayed in typical puppy vaccinations, training, and early exposure to the outside world. I was told she was too weak and at risk, and I followed that guidance out of fear, doing the best I could with the information I had at the time.

As she grew, new challenges emerged. She developed severe food and environmental sensitivities, recurring yeast overgrowth, false pregnancy symptoms, and ongoing health issues that left me searching for answers. Despite doing everything I was told was “right,” nothing truly addressed the root of what was going on.

That experience changed everything for me.

I began to look deeper into nutrition, lifestyle, and holistic approaches to health. Over time, I shifted away from conventional protocols and toward a more species-appropriate, root-cause focused approach. I started to understand how much of her health was being influenced by what she was eating, how she was living, and the overall burden placed on her body.

Today, Caspa is thriving. She is fully raw fed, her wellness is supported holistically, and her health is managed with intention and awareness. She has not followed conventional protocols, and yet she is strong, stable, and living a life that once felt uncertain.

She is the reason Jennuine Pet Services exists.

What I offer is not based on theory alone. It is shaped by lived experience, continued education, and a deep commitment to helping other pet parents feel less confused, less overwhelmed, and more empowered in the decisions they make for their pets.

Caspa will be 8 years old in July 2026. She has overcome so many battles in her life and has been such a massive inspiration for others to pursue a holistic lifestyle for their pets.
